Mark Rubin
Mr. Rubin joined LHP Law Group as their Compliance Attorney. Mr. Rubin has been active in the field of professional responsibility and discipline for 35 years. He is a former member/chair of the Disciplinary Commission of the Arizona Supreme Court, served on the Ethical Rules Review Group (the body that rewrote the Rules of Professional Conduct for Arizona between 2001-2003), and served on the State Bar of Arizona Committee on the Rules of Professional Conduct and its Client Protection Fund Board of Trustees. He has lectured many times on ethics and professionalism matters. From 2013-2016 he was a member of the Fiduciary Board, a regulatory body of the Arizona Supreme Court that supervises Arizona’s Licensed Fiduciary program and disciplines Licensed Fiduciaries.
In addition to serving as LHP Law Group’s Compliance Attorney, Mr. Rubin also practices law with with Rubin & Bernstein PLLC and is General Counsel for Pima Medical Institute. Leigh Bernstein (Lic. No. 20544) and Mark Rubin (Lic. No. 20546) are also Licensed Fiduciaries and own and operate Southern Arizona Fiduciary Services LLC (Lic. No. 20850). In addition to professional responsibility law, He focuses his practice on real estate, business, and probate/estate planning/fiduciary matters, and a substantial amount of fiduciary work. His work with Pima Medical Institute includes real estate and business law, as well as education law.
Mr. Rubin has represented dozens of lawyers in discipline matters. He has also pursued and defended against legal malpractice claims on many occasions and has served as both a consulting and testifying expert witness for plaintiffs and defendants, and for the State Bar. He also provides advice to lawyers and law firms on issues of ethics and professionalism. Mr. Rubin has served on and chaired several philanthropic and charitable entity boards, including the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education and the Tucson Jewish Community Center. He is a founder of Social Venture Partners Tucson. Currently and for the past five years, He serves as the chair of the Board of Trustees for the Tucson Supplemental Retirement System Board of Trustees.
